Riley Keough wrote in her memoir that her mother Lisa Marie Presley left the body of her late brother, Benjamin Keough, inside their home in a room for two months after his death.

In the book “From Here to the Great Unknown,” Riley Keough shared that her mother Lisa Marie Presley kept Benjamin’s body in an air-conditioned room at 13°C for two months after his passing.

Riley Keough co-wrote the book with her mother, who died in January 2023 at the age of 54. In the book, she recounts that she called a tattoo artist to look at the body and create a tattoo that matched one her late brother had.

After the tattoo, Riley said everyone “felt that” Benjamin wanted to be buried. “Even my mom said she could feel him talking to her, saying, ‘This is insane, mom, what are you doing? What is this!'”, she shared.

Riley also commented on her brother’s struggle with mental health. “It breaks my heart that he only realized he might need help just two weeks before taking his own life.”

Benjamin was buried at Graceland, next to Elvis. Lisa Marie was also buried beside them.
